Who We Are

CCG is a team of coaches dedicated to helping people communicate in a clear, concise and compelling manner. For more than a decade, we have worked with some of the world’s most successful organizations that have trusted us – over and over again – to help their spokespeople communicate with confidence.

CCG was founded by Mary Civiello in 2000 after many years reporting and anchoring the news for NBC New York. Her coaches are all former journalists who can help you deliver your news, your message, in a way that makes people want to tune in and stay tuned!

The Team

What We Do

CCG’s sweet spot is the C-suite, working one on one with senior leaders and founders, as well as anyone who is center stage; top scientists, celebrities, government leaders and authors. We support employees at all levels of an organization, working with groups of all sizes, and now, online with our new e-learning platform, CommunicationCounts™.

Credibility that comes from years of experience as presentation and media coaches delivering honest feedback that resonates. We help not only with how you say it but WHAT you say. Virtually all of our clients come to us as referrals from other clients.

We customize sessions for each client based on individual needs whether it is where you are speaking, when and where you can work, and especially what you need to “amp your impact.” We make it our business to know your business, as well as your speaking strengths and challenges before we meet. We develop sessions that simulate the setting from satellite TV to panel presentations and keynotes.

Congeniality & Confidentiality.

Congeniality may sound like “a runner up” in a pageant, but in the business world, where vendors and partners can look about the same, congeniality wins. Most clients choose to work with people they like and trust. CCG coaches are enjoyable to work with and will always keep your information confidential.

CCG as Moderators

Not only can we coach you and your executive team, we can also moderate your events. As former journalists we can make sure your panels and conferences are lively as well as informative. CCG moderators “practice what they preach” to clients, making sure they:

  • Prepare to Provoke
  • Keep the Traffic Moving
  • Connect the Dots
